When I first heard that this product was coming, I assumed that it was going to be a collection of NPCs. Frankly, this did not interest me much. Hints that there was more led me to investigate the product, and I am glad I did. You will find several NPCs (which I find to be most useful as inspiration for story seeds) but also many new cyphers, artifacts, foci, and other elements with an assassination theme. Most intriguingly, the document also includes several new systems for expending XPs for guild membership (and rank) and player perks. The latter have implications well beyond assassins in Numenera games. I highly recommend this product for anyone running Numenera (or, soon, The Strange) for its diverse components.
